have had these watches for years and now theyre a bit childish for me so ive been looking to get a new one but i dont think i could live without the night light! the only thing is the silver paint around the face isnt there anymore and instead its just the white plastic underneath. We took it back to Asda (where i bought it for £10) and they exchanged it- no hassle, no questions asked!
dont be afraid to go swimming with it – although they say if it says its under 50m water resistant it only means its splashproof! NO way! this watch (and the other ones like it) is absolutly fine under water! just dont press any buttons underwater (says the manual!!!!)

We bought this watch for our daughter who is 8 years old as a birthday present and we found it to be a lovely “starter” watch. She was totally “over the moon” with it and couldn’t wait to put it on. She was always ready to tell us the time (just what we were hoping for)and she even tried it on when we went to the swimming pool to test out the waterproof part – no problems there. The only thing we have to say is the strap that came with it; although it’s practical, it’s a nuisance to take it off and put it on as well as after swimming with it, it took quite awhile to dry out. Other than that, we like the watch especially our daughter who found out there was a backlight button that lit up in the dark made the watch even more special to her.

When this item arrived, the packaging was squashed as it was insuffienciently wrapped to protect it.
As for the watch itself, it looks pretty but is made of plastic, I expected it to be metal being a timex and the elasticated strap does not grip onto the fastener, so when my daughter wears it it comes undone too easily.
I would have returned it had I kept the packaging that was already damaged, but I didn’t realise until all the wrapping had been thrown away at christmas.
